Data Meets Climate

(New York, USA) UN Global Pulse, Western Digital and Skoll Global Threats Fund invite you to attend an evening event at General Assembly in New York on "Data Meets Climate."

The event will take place on 1 August from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. A dynamic panel will deliver powerful presentations on why the scientific community needs to work to bridge the gap between data access, data science and climate science to create innovative ideas for effective solutions.

The event is part of the Data for Climate Action, an open innovation challenge to harness data science and big data from the private sector to fight climate change.

Data scientists, researchers, and innovators are welcome to attend and discuss opportunities for new data sources to inform development, with a particular focus on SDG 13: climate mitigation, climate adaptation, and the linkages between climate change and the broader 2030 Agenda.
