Information and Communication Technologies for Evaluation (ICT4Eval) International Conference

(Rome, Italy) The Independent Office of Evaluation of IFAD (IOE) is organizing, on 6 and 7 June, an international conference on Information and Communication Technologies for Evaluation (ICT4Eval), which sets out to explore vital questions in the context of conducting evaluations of strategies and programmes that contribute to rural transformation. 

The event is organized around three main topics: (i) ICT applied to data collection, (ii) ICT applied to data analysis and (iii) ICT applied to data dissemination. The conference will gather a wide range of partners with expertise in development evaluation practice and application of ICTs in development and/or evaluation, and innovators pushing the boundaries of the use of technology in data collection, analysis and dissemination. 

UN Global Pulse is happy to present its latest report on "Integrating Big Data into the Monitoring and Evaluation of Development Programmes" as well as speak during the session entitled: Big data and their applications for governance, development and evaluation.
