Meeting of the Global Pulse Privacy Advisory Group
In 2014, Global Pulse established a Data Privacy Advisory Group (PAG) comprised of experts from public and private sector, academia and civil society from around the world.
The PAG is a forum to engage in a continuous dialogue on critical topics related to data protection and privacy to unearth precedents, good practices, and strengthen the overall understanding of how privacy protected analysis of big data can contribute to sustainable development and humanitarian action.
The members of the PAG convene throughout the year for in-person meetings. This year, the members of the PAG will gather for a two-day meeting on 17 and 18 April in New York. The meeting will also include participation of representatives from various UN agencies, funds and programmes.
This is a closed meeting.
